Bring enough hex removal, some nice aoe(splinter weapon/ancestors' rage), 2x aegis + a DA para and you'll find it pretty easy.

At least that's how I do it with heros.

Your regular HM team build will do, really. A MM is helpful in most of it, and you'll need a good damage output (a couple of SF eles, or some other powerful AoE). One, maybe two Splinter Rangers. A human HB monk is helpful, but most common HM Hero healers can do it. I personally run 3 Sabway necros, with the other human bringing a nuker, a Prot monk and another N/Rt healer.

don't mean to hijack the thread but would that work?

say a human warrior, a human SF nuker, with the warrior having the sabway build and the nuker bringing ANOTHER nuker (SF hero nuker), a protection hero and a N/Rt hero?

A lot works in NM FOW if you watch your aggro and know how to handle the quests.

You just need to watch the aggro so you don't get dazed. It's best if the minions take the aggro first.

This is my HM clear build/guide. It only takes a total of three people so your drops will be a lot sexier. It requires 2 monks and 1 ranger/mesmer. So if you guys have the classes needed you could easily take a hero as the last spot.

NM FoW isn't really that big a deal, I know a guildie and I ran through with us and 6 heroes and we didn't have a single "Oh Shi--" moment whatsoever. I think the closest we came was at the Burning Forest in the NE corner. I'm an Illusion Mesmer, he's a Dervish, I ran Sabway, he brought a prot Tahlkora, an interrupt Gwen, and a SF Sousuke.

And if you want to laugh about me being an Illusion Mesmer, doesn't that just prove my point even more that it's not really a big deal?

Now, when we did it the other night we also had a Balth Dervish tank to help out, and the Curses necro was a player with Summon Mursaat and Mindbender rather than Rip Enchant and Pure Was Mi Ling and it took us an age. But thats probably because I was the only one to have completed FoW before and even then it was only once!
Now that I know the quests and the route, I know who to pull and where I think this team would hold up very well.

Notice: no enchants to be stripped barr the succor which I maintained on the paras so it wasnt all that essential, just helped the Empathic Para to spam ER when the hexes got overloaded. The combined passive defense of the paras, the shutdown of the mesmer/me on BHA and the excellent healing capabilities of the necros made for a very sturdy team, whilst the ward from me combined with both of the paras and the mesmer caused pretty hefty death to occur quite quickly. no area particularly posed a problem.
I have made a couple of alterations since I first posted this build:
If you go as a godmode warrior I would set up the paras like this:
[build prof=P/Me name="Expel Para" box SpearMastery=12+1+1 Leadership=9+1 Mot=9+1][Vicious Attack][Spear Of Redemption][Power Spike][Aria Of Restoration][Expel Hexes][Ballad Of Restoration][Aggressive Refrain][Signet Of Return][/build]

[build prof=P/any name="Cruel Spear Para" box SpearMastery=12+1+1 Leadership=9+1 Command=9+1][Cruel Spear][Barbed Spear][Wild Throw]["Go For The Eyes!"][Anthem Of Flame]["Fall Back!"][Aggressive Refrain][Signet Of Return][/build]

This build still works really well and with you playing as a "Godmode" warrior. (SY Dragon Slasher), this should just tear through mobs.
What is your friend running?

Well, if you or your friend runs the godmode warrior build (see the warrior section for it), and then the other goes as a monk you might want to change succor on the mes for [[Strength Of Honor] and squeeze [[Splinter Weapon] onto one of the Ritualists.

Your friend, as a monk, could bring a healers boon or word of healing build, it doesnt matter too much as long as they're a competant healer. Aegis might be useful, as mentioned.
